Primary responsibility is to work SME for Network Endpoint connectivity under (Telecoms) and drive LAN/WAN/WiFi transformation along with Cyber and other Telecom platforms. SPOC for LAN/WAN and SDWAN (added advantage) technology driving designing and responsible for implementation end to end. The responsibilities entail areas such as execution of production support, creating knowledge base, and producing relevant data for trending and analysis purpose. The job holder is responsible for technical delivery of projects by providing technical/process guidance to project teams and be a subject matter expert for the technology and guide delivery teams for NEC across other centres for process/system improvements. The job holder works closely with group Telecom teams, Team leaders, and Managers to understand the scope of work, format, and the expectations. The role holder also often liaises with the other technology teams for support purposes. Assist Domain to identify service delivery issues (SLA slippages, quality etc.), post implementation issues, escalations and assist to drive timely & successful closure. Identify & implement actions to eliminate issues. Organise & lead meetings with regional teams for development or support of deliverables. Participate in crisis call and other global calls for support & delivery of domain goals. Mitigate and record risks early to ensure minimal and/or no impact to project deliveries. Evaluate and track operational risk associated with the role. Ensure contingencies are planned within all activities. Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the solutions delivered. Engage with vendor engagement and drive continuous improvement, enhancements, strategy and roadmap for the NEC. Qualifications Overall 8+ years of experience in Network domain. A system engineering background and the ability to compare different solutions to meet a business requirement. Have conceptual functional and nonfunctional knowledge of some of the following areas: Network technologies including SDWAN, WAN/LAN, WiFi, Cloud, Automation (CI/CD) experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible. Hands on experience working on LAN/WAN and WiFi (preferably Juniper Mist). Working experience on Cloud platform preferably AWS and Automation (Ansible/Python etc). Good to have Network Security Firewall, IDS/IPS, DDoS, Proxy, etc. Network tools like monitoring (links & devices), device & performance management, etc. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with different groups of stakeholders and external vendor. Solid experience in collaborating with relevant business units and functions. Strong team player who also can work under pressure, independently and proactively. Strong analysis and problemsolving skills. Excellent communication skills, with ability to describe complex technical scenarios in a concise manner, both verbally and written, and articulating the content depending on the audience. Proven experience in managing and building relationships with business partners and other support teams. Worked in an infrastructure critical environment and understands how technology adds value to the business and ultimately the end customer. Industry standard certifications in the technology area of work would be preferred (CCNP). Good to Have Technical skills (Core & TopUp).
