This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Lawyer to work across a portfolio of well-known brands, supporting a fast-paced business that blends retail, eCommerce, and product innovation.In this broad and hands-on role, youll partner with stakeholders across marketing, merchandising, product, operations, and technology, providing practical legal advice that enables growth while managing risk.Key Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier, distribution, licensing, technology, and marketing contracts.Advise on consumer law, advertising, promotions, privacy/data protection, and competition law.Partner with the business on product launches, marketing campaigns, and strategic initiatives to ensure compliance from concept through delivery.Contribute to governance and risk frameworks, developing policies, procedures, and training programs.Manage relationships with external legal providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.Assist with dispute resolution, regulatory engagement, and intellectual property protection.Skills & Experience:36 years PQE gained in-house or in private practice, with strong commercial law experience.Strong commercial contract experience with the ability to balance legal risk and business outcomes.Proven ability in consumer law, privacy/data protection, and corporate governance.Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.Greenfields is a specialist In-House Legal, Company Secretary and Corporate Governance Executive Search & Recruitment firm.
