Do you have accounting experience private practice and looking for your next opportunity? DLK Advisory is an accounting firm based in the Melbourne CBD. With around 30 employees and a diverse mix of expertise, we provide both traditional business advisory services and virtual CFO support to a broad range of clients. DLK is currently looking to appoint an Accountant to perform a range of financial activities across a variety of clients. The role is a full time opportunity guaranteed to keep you challenged. Reporting to a Principal, you will be responsible for: Building and maintaining trusted client relationships Preparing and lodging BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and superannuation obligations in line with ATO requirements Performing a range of complex tax and business advisory based activities for clients Managing a client portfolio, providing accounting, tax and business compliance support Analysing management accounting reports and providing advice to clients Delegating and reviewing work papers completed by team members Fostering a culture of respect, empowerment and integrity The ideal candidate is someone with: 1 - 2 years experience working in a private practice Bachelor of Business and CA or CPA qualification Proficient knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Office Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work in a team and autonomously Positive can do attitude To learn more about life at DLK Advisory, visit the careers page on our website Careers - DLK Advisory
