What you''ll own Design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices for Zip''s checkout experiences. Collaborate with Product and Engineering peers to define solutions that balance long-term scalability with short-term business outcomes. Take ownership of technical delivery within your squad, contributing to architecture and driving quality. Contribute to improving integration patterns, developer experience, and system observability across the Checkouts ecosystem. Mentor engineers within the squad, sharing knowledge and promoting engineering best practice. What you''ll bring to the team Hands on engineering experience building scalable systems in a commercial environment. Solid experience in .NET Core (C#) and modern frontend frameworks like React/Next.js. Strong experience developing microservices and cloud-native solutions on AWS (Kubernetes, Docker). Strong experience in API design, integration patterns, and application performance monitoring (APM). A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn, and grow.
