Randstad Digital is looking to speak to Program Directors that are ready to take on a new contract for a well known QLD Government organisation. You will be responsible for establishing a new team and driving cohesive, fit-for-purpose dynamic and physical security policies and governance for complex operational technology (OT) systems within high-risk facilities. This role requires deep expertise in electronic security systems, cyber security strategy (ISO 27001/IS18), and high-calibre stakeholder engagement to embed a culture of safety and system integrity.The initial contract is until March 2026 with extensions.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain a suitably qualified and experienced team and develop infrastructure standards for complex, high-risk security assets.Implement a robust framework for the continual monitoring, availability, and control of all custodial security systems, including circular feedback mechanisms.Develop, deploy, and govern the comprehensive Security Policy framework, ensuring compliance with Government mandates and Operational Technology (OT) contexts.Execute and manage security system maintenance schedules and protocols and actively manage threats and risk processes to guarantee system integrity and availability.Manage annual System Attestation for cyber security over Electronic Security Systems and establish a framework to audit system performance standards/KPIs for risk mitigation.Engage with relevant Infrastructure teams on project impacts (maintenance/construction) and integrate the "human" component (onboarding/training) into system configuration and usage protocols.About youIn depth demonstrated experience and knowledge of complex high level interfaced electronic security systems within a complex operational environment or containment facilitySenior leader able to create a high performing, delivery aligned team culture and outcomesPrevious experience in establishing and embedding new standards, inter-dependencies, policies, procedures and governance of complex assets within a high-risk security environment.Strategy development with associated commercial acumen and planning experience, coupled with exceptional communication skills to articulately present plans, benefits and recommendations up to Executive levelsProven high calibre interpersonal and engagement skills to build credible relationships up to senior levels, with internal and external stakeholders, and third parties (ie Union) who often have competing interests and views on sensitive and complicated issuesSound project management experience on high value infrastructure technology projects, ideally within a corrections or high security environmentHighly desirable but not essential qualificationsTertiary qualification in Electronic / Electrical / Mechanical EngineeringFormal qualification or certification in PLC (ie computer science)Project management experience or certificationAnd all Randstad Digital candidates receiveAccess to a Udemy licence for ongoing learning and continuous professional developmentAccess to exclusive discounts across various platformsDiscounts on private health fundsNovated leasing optionsAt Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
