Senior Occupational Hygiene Consultant Lead and Grow with GCG in Western Australia Ready to step into a senior role where your expertise genuinely shapes outcomes? GCG is expanding our Perth team and were looking for an experienced Occupational Hygienist whos passionate about improving worker health and delivering high-quality technical advice. This is an opportunity to influence major industry projects, mentor early-career hygienists, and work closely with some of the most respected Certified Occupational Hygienists in the country. The Opportunity Based in our Perth office, youll play a key role in supporting clients across sectors such as mining, energy, defence, infrastructure, and manufacturing. Your work will be varied - ranging from strategic advisory and project leadership to on-site assessments and technical reporting. Youll be a trusted partner to our clients, helping them understand and manage exposure risks while shaping long-term control strategies. What Youll Be Doing Lead and deliver occupational hygiene monitoring programs and technical reports Provide expert advice on exposure control, risk management and regulatory requirements Build and maintain strong client relationships across diverse industries Support and mentor junior team members to build capability within the Perth office Collaborate with Certified Hygienists and WHS specialists across the national business Contribute to project planning, proposals and broader business initiatives Travel to client sites within WA as required About You Several years of demonstrated experience in occupational hygiene or a related field Strong technical knowledge and confidence in applying hygiene principles onsite and in reports Excellent written communication and attention to detail The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Strong organisational skills and the capacity to balance multiple projects High-level professionalism when engaging with clients and stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office Highly valued (but not essential): Experience leading projects or mentoring others Provisional or Full membership with the AIOH Experience working across large mining or industrial projects Why Choose GCG?
