Your New Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Third Party, Governance & Sourcing is responsible for ensuring effective third party and sourcing management providing trusted processes, insight, advice, and guidance. drawing together a range of external and internal inputs. The Head of Third Party, Governance & Sourcing is responsible for ensuring the group has the professional and behavioural capabilities necessary to meet the Fund''s thirdparty needs. The Head of Third Party, Governance & Sourcing is a member of the Finance Leadership Team. Key Duties Provide expert leadership and guidance on procurement matters to the CEO and Group Executives and represent AustralianSuper in critical commercial negotiations. Drive vendor performance and manage relationships through effective governance, including formal meetings, monitoring service levels, and overseeing vendor compliance. Ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance for procurement activities and oversee all relevant technology platforms used by AustralianSuper. Ensure critical service partners have processes in place to improve the quality of their deliverables to AustralianSuper. Contribute both functional expertise and broader leadership and business management ideas, skills, and experience as part of crossFund initiatives. Nurture and maintain internal and external relationships across all levels of the Fund. Prepare and present executivelevel reports, business cases, and performance dashboards as required. Ensure the team has adequate resources and culture to meet the nearterm and strategic goals and operational plans of AustralianSuper right people, right place, right skills, at the right time. Lead the team to operate and make decisions according to the Fund''s Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund''s Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities. What You''ll Need The successful applicant will have experience developing and delivering commercial strategies appropriate to an industry superannuation fund, as well as organisation wide business planning, reporting and analysis frameworks. Their ability to influence and demonstrate a high level of communication across the Fund, including internal and external stakeholders, will help them to succeed in the role. Exceptional leadership capability to build highperforming, diverse teams and embed a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement. Regulated industry experience, ideally in financial services (with exposure to APRA or ASIC preferred). Experience in a global organisation, ideally with exposure to Europe, the United States and/or Asia. 15+ years'' experience in governance, procurement, third party management, or business management with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role. Advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including preparing executivelevel reports, business cases and performance dashboards. Proven ability to develop and execute procurement strategies, drive continuous improvement and deliver measurable cost optimisation.
