Job OverviewPE backed manufacturing/distribution business This Australian manufacturing and distribution business operates across multiple sites on the East Coast and is seeking a commercially astute CFO to lead a critical phase of operational and financial stabilisation. Backed by private equity and positioned for value creation coming out of the cycle, the business has recently undergone significant supply chain transformation and requires a handson financial leader to reset cash disciplines, strengthen the finance function, and drive commercial performance alongside the CEO and Board.ResponsibilitiesThis is a highaccountability role requiring someone who can step into a complex situation and execute operational improvement quickly and efficiently. Immediate priorities include implementing rigorous cash flow management, enforcing working capital discipline, delivering clean audit outcomes, and upgrading finance team capability. The role includes functional responsibility for IT, digital enablement and potentially logistics and procurement.QualificationsYou are a CFO with an operational and commercial track record. You roll up your sleeves to identify a problem before implementing a solution. PE experience or experience in highaccountability environments is preferred, but not mandatory, but you must have deep manufacturing, distribution and supply chain experience. Strong working capital and cash management disciplines gained in complex supply chain or manufacturing/distribution businesses is key. You will be comfortable making decisive calls early.
