See yourself in our team The Associate Director Institutional Fixed Income plays a critical role in driving FIIGs growth strategy and strengthening our position as a market leader. By combining deep market expertise with exceptional client service, this role directly impacts: Revenue Growth: Expanding FIIGs institutional client base and unlocking new opportunities within existing portfolios. What will you be doing To work with the Director Institutional Fixed Income to service the current client base and grow the business. There are two key components to this role, the first includes business development, client analysis, financial market research and trade settlements. The second will require you to build your own client base and start to generate your own revenue. This role is based in Sydney and will have accountability for: Contribute to business growth strategy by helping the Director Institutional Fixed Income to find and establish new client relationships Generate additional revenue by identifying new opportunities within the existing client portfolioProvide clients with exceptional service Ensure that execution and settlement of all transactions is completed in an accurate and timely manner Establish and maintain a deep understanding of all clients circumstances, priorities, ambitions and needs through ongoing contact and use of all sales processes and tools Progressively build your own client base and achieve sales budgets and revenue growth Actively attend and positively contribute to all sales and client meetings Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory requirements and security measures Wed love to hear from passionate people who have 3 or more years of fixed income experience, ideally concentrated in credit markets Proven track record of sales success in acquiring and growing a client base Ability to hit the ground running with an established market presence and a network of clients Demonstrates strong organizational skills applying a disciplined and organised approach Ability to work autonomously and within a team to achieve results (must be a strong team player) Diligent and able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines Dynamic and credible professional who demonstrates a high level of written and verbal communication skills, and is able to engage with clients and key stakeholders at all levels Ability to coordinate with various teams in order to action exceptions and ad hoc inquiries Must be detail oriented and be able to multitask Knowledge of electronic platforms for trading and confirmations Degree in finance, economics or related field Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Desirable RG146 AFMA accreditation We want to help grow your skills and develop your career with us!
