Due to expansion and growth Downer are seeking a seasoned Project Director to oversee a major transmission network service project. The opportunity Are you ready to lead the delivery of critical infrastructure that powers Australias energy future? Downer is seeking a seasoned Project Director to manage, lead and motivate a multi-disciplined team Downer performance targets while delivering Power Projects Portfolio including all tendering/bidding requirement. Reporting into the GM of Power Projects you will be responsible for the successful completion of the project, in accordance with zero harm objectives, client requirement, quality, time and cost constraints to achieve all objectives. What youll do Lead Zero Harm compliances and initiatives Manage all aspects of project delivery from site and team-setup to handover through the application of Downer Project Management tools and systemsDevelop and review design, environmental, community and construction planning and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates Work with operations to establish active, effective business improvement teams to eliminate waste and minimise the cost of our operations Manage financial issues effectively and follow accounting and other policies and procedures Maintain schedules and planning to meet objectives / projects.
