General Manager- Geelong Greyhound Racing Club Are you an experienced manager looking for an exciting new opportunity working with community stakeholders and participants in the racing industry? The Geelong Greyhound Club is seeking a fulltime Manager to oversee the daytoday operations of their established organisation in Corio, VIC. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for leading a team and ensuring the smooth running of race events and club activities. What youll be doing Manage and coordinate the club''s operations, including staffing, budgeting, and strategic planning Build and maintain strong relationships with Greyhound Racing Victoria, and identified key partners Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance the clubs efficiency and effectiveness Liaise with stakeholders, including sponsors, volunteers, and the local community, to build strengthen and maintain strong relationships Oversee the promotion and marketing of the club''s events and initiatives to attract new members and supporters Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and legislative requirements to provide high level governance Foster and encourage a positive and collaborative work environment for Geelong Greyhound Racing Club What were looking for Significant experience in a management or leadership role, preferably working with the community and stakeholders within the racing industry Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders Familiarity with interpretation and understanding regarding industry regulations and compliance requirements A demonstrated passion and commitment to the racing industry and working for the Geelong Greyhound Club What we offer At the Geelong Greyhound Club, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
