Senior Executive Role Leading Finance Strategy & Operations Respected, High-Growth Construction Contractor in Wetherill Park About The Company Our client is a leading construction contractor delivering complex and high-value projects across the health, infrastructure and education sectors. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in guiding longterm financial performance, supporting strategic decisionmaking, and influencing the direction of a wellestablished and growing organisation. About The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the primary purpose of this role is to lead the finance function and ensure the organisation maintains strong financial health, operational excellence and longterm sustainability. Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing all accounting and finance functions including budgeting, forecasting, cashflow and statutory compliance Leading and mentoring the finance and accounts team to drive accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement Managing financial performance across multiple construction projects, including job costing and contract reporting Developing and implementing financial strategies aligned with commercial objectives and growth plans Ensuring compliance with tax, regulatory and financial reporting requirements Providing senior leadership with insights, modelling and recommendations for strategic decisionmaking Driving systems improvements and strengthening financial controls across the business About You The successful candidate will have: CPA or CA qualification with 10+ years experience in senior financial leadership roles Proven experience as a CFO, Financial Controller or Finance Manager in the construction industry (essential) Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, progress claims and contract financial management Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills A handson approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution High levels of commercial acumen, integrity and attention to detail You will thrive in this role if you are collaborative, influential, commercially minded and capable of steering financial strategy within a dynamic projectdriven environment.
