Head of Operations Brookvale NSW Salary: $150,000 + Super + BONUS A wellestablished manufacturing company based in Brookvale is seeking a handson, peoplefocused Head of Operations to lead daytoday production, drive efficiency, and support a range of operational improvement projects. You will be reporting directly to the CEO and be part of the management team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, bluecollar environment and enjoys managing production, planning, people, and continuous improvement from end to end. About the Role Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee the full operational function of the manufacturing facility, including: Production & Production Planning Supply Chain & Procurement Raw Materials & Inventory Management Quality Assurance & Process Control Customer Service Oversight Willing to jump in and assist with Major Project Management (IT Projects, Product development projects, Supply Chain Projects) You will lead a team of 78 frontline production and assembly staff, ensuring smooth operations, safe work practices, and consistent delivery of quality products. Key Responsibilities Manage endtoend production operations and workflow Oversee procurement, supplier relationships, and inventory levels Champion quality, compliance, and continuous improvement Support small and major projects across IT, product development, and operations Lead, coach, and motivate workshop and assembly teams Ensure efficient customer order fulfilment Drive safety, performance, and operational efficiency across the facility Implement and understand OH&S rules and regulations within the facility What Were Looking For Background in operations leadership, production management, construction management or general management Strong experience managing bluecollar or workshopbased teams Excellent communication, planning, and problemsolving skills A proactive, positive, get in and help leadership style Ability to assist with project management (not necessarily lead) Experience with pumps, flow meters, mechanical components, or manufacturing is beneficial but not essential Handson, downtoearth attitude with a sense of responsibility and initiative Why This Role?
