About the role As a Grade 2 Podiatrist, you will deliver high-quality podiatry services within your area of clinical expertise, applying specialist knowledge and experience to support best patient outcomes. You will work independently while actively contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team and will be expected to initiate and participate in teaching, training, research, and quality improvement activities. You will also represent the podiatry discipline as required by your manager. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new service and innovative model of care within our general medical wards, with a strong focus on high-risk foot management. You will work closely with medical teams, particularly endocrinology, vascular, infectious diseases, and orthopaedics, to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: Recognised tertiary qualification in Podiatry.Current registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.Eligibility for membership of Australian Podiatry Association Ltd.Demonstrated high level communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated high level clinical skills and commitment to evidenced based practice.Demonstrated commitment to person centre care.Hold a current Victorian Drivers Licence.Willingness to work across all Eastern Health Sites. Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
