One Pear Tree | Frankston VIC$70,000 $80,000 per year | Full Time One Pear Tree is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our busy brunch caf in Frankston, located on the Mornington Peninsula. This is a handson leadership role suited to a motivated hospitality professional who enjoys building strong teams, delivering excellent customer service, and running an efficient, positive workplace. About the Business One Pear Tree is a vibrant, communityfocused brunch caf known for bold flavours, creative food, strong coffee, and warm hospitality. We operate during the day only and pride ourselves on consistency, culture, and genuine customer connections. About the Role The General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily caf operations, leading the frontofhouse team, and working closely with the Head Chef and ownership to ensure smooth service and strong business performance. This is a fulltime position: Daytime hours only (approx. 7:00am 3:30pm) Key Responsibilities Oversee daily frontofhouse and caf operations Lead, train, and manage the FOH team Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service Manage staffing, rostering, and performance Monitor labour costs and assist with wage control Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally Ensure compliance with food safety, WH&S, and venue procedures Work closely with the Head Chef for smooth service flow Manage FOH stock, ordering, and supplier coordination Maintain a positive, energetic team culture Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have: Strong leadership and people management skills Experience with rostering, labour control, and daily operations Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to stay calm and organised in a fastpaced environment Knowledge of POS systems and basic reporting Flexible availability, including weekends What We Offer Competitive salary: $70,000 $80,000 per year Daytimeonly hours no late nights Supportive team and positive work culture Opportunity to grow with a local, expanding caf brand Applicants must have: Full Australian working rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid visa) If youre an experienced hospitality manager looking to lead a busy caf in a daytimeonly environment, wed love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
