Executive Director Child Protection and Permanency Executive Director, Child Protection and Permanency Based in multiple locations across NSW 6 x FullTime - Ongoing Positions available Salary Range: $315,187 - $352,606 total remuneration payable These roles may be appointed to lead at a District level, across practice or statewide services. Specific scope will be confirmed at appointment. Your role The Executive Director, Child Protection and Permanency leads the operational management of the directorates and shapes a human services system that delivers highquality child protection and outofhome care (OOHC) services for children, young people, and families. You will champion best practice, implement evidencebased strategies, and build workforce capability to drive innovation and deliver outcomes aligned with NSW Government priorities. What youll do Lead the operational management of child protection and OOHC directorates to deliver safe, highquality services. Drive strategic reforms and evidencebased approaches to improve outcomes for children, young people, and families. Champion best practice frameworks and cultural responsiveness across the service system. Oversee financial management, risk mitigation, and performance to meet government priorities and community expectations. Build strong partnerships with government, NGOs, and Aboriginal communities to enable collaborative service delivery. Expertise in Child Protection: Deep understanding of child safety, OOHC, and legislative frameworks. Cultural Responsiveness: Commitment to inclusive practices and engagement with Aboriginal communities. Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in building trust and collaboration across sectors and agencies. Advisory Skills: Ability to provide clear, expert advice on sensitive and complex issues. Operational Excellence: Strong financial acumen and experience managing largescale operations. Resilience and Integrity: Capacity to lead in highpressure environments with transparency and accountability. Change Management: Experience driving innovation and continuous improvement.
