People and Culture Partner, Field & Office FCF Fire & Electrical keeps families, staff, customers, and entire communities safe. This is a newly created role and a rare chance to shape how HR shows up across the business from day one. About the Role Reporting to the CEO, the People and Culture Partner - Field and Office will work part time (0.8 FTE, 4 days per week) and sit as a key member of the FCF Leadership Team. This role blends operational HR with genuine influence, supporting our people across the full employee lifecycle. You''ll partner closely with leaders, support technicians and office staff, strengthen our culture, and make sure we''re meeting our obligations while building a place where people want to stay. This is handson HR, the good kind. Some days you''ll be rolling up your sleeves with ER issues or recruitment, other days you''ll be helping the CEO shape the longterm people strategy. You will need to be open to regularly travel to a range of FCF offices and sites, which include Wide Bay and Sunshine Coast. Key Responsibilities People Partnering & Coaching Advise and coach leaders on recruitment, performance, development, and workforce planning. Support a fair and respectful workplace across all sites and teams. Handle people matters, including grievances, concerns, and workforce issues with professionalism and care. Assist with investigations and provide practical recommendations to the CEO and General Manager. Keep policies and practices up to date, compliant, and easy to understand. Prepare monthly workforce reports and work with leaders to address trends and issues. Talent Acquisition Lead the endtoend hiring process for local roles, helping leaders attract, assess, and onboard great people. Support remuneration reviews and market benchmarking. HR Projects & Culture Partner with the CEO and General Manager to refine HR processes as the business grows. Roll out engagement and culture initiatives that support our values and help us become an employer of choice. Identify opportunities to improve communication, recognition, and consistency across both office and field teams. What You''ll Bring 5+ years HR partnering or HR experience Solid knowledge of Australian employment legislation Ability to connect with both office teams and field technicians Practical, handson approach with strategic thinking when needed Experience in a trades, service or operational environment is a bonus HR Certificate or Diploma qualification required Full Australian work rights are required Why FCF?
