Caboolture Rugby Union QLD is a part of the awardwinning Caboolture Sports Club Group, and is renowned for its passion, performance and longterm growth. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our Rugby Club into its next chapter of success. If you are a handson strategic leader with a strong passion for Rugby, have demonstrated experience in working in sports management, and have a knack for operational excellence, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations: Play a central role in guiding the clubs direction, turning strategic goals into real outcomes. Youll be the central point for committee and stakeholder contact, keeping everyone informed with clear reporting and ensuring we operate with integrity and compliance. Coach & Official Development: Drive the growth of our coaching and officiating team, building a modern development program, mentoring talent and building a strong connected culture ensuring our club stays sharp and competitive! Facility Management of Petersen Road Sports Complex: Keep the club running smoothly and safely by overseeing maintenance, WHS and food safety, coordinating contractors, managing fields and equipment, and making sure our facilities are always ready for training, matches, and events. Community & Sponsorships: Grow the clubs profile and partnershipsbuilding relationships with schools and community groups, developing programs that showcase our club, securing and managing sponsorships, and ensuring partners and sponsors receive maximum value while keeping the Committee fully informed. Skills required to be successful in role Proven ability to effectively lead a team. Strong leadership and management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven financial management and budgeting experience. Strategic thinking and problemsolving capabilities. Knowledge of rugby operations and industry best practices. Personal Attributes Passion for rugby and sports management. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Strong negotiation and decisionmaking skills. Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive club culture Qualifications RMLV (or willing to obtain) Responsible Service of Alcohol (or willing to obtain) Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willing to obtain) Ability to hold and maintain a Blue Card Hold and maintain a current Driver Licence Ability to hold and maintain a Police Check Why us?
