Our Board plays a vital role in guiding VCCs strategic direction and ensuring the sustainability of our services. Due to three board members reaching the end of their terms, we are now seeking a passionate Treasurer to join our Board. About the Role Requirements: Must hold CPA qualifications. Proven experience with financial oversight in the not-forprofit sector and familiarity with ACNC requirements. Will collaborate closely with our experienced bookkeeper/finance officer to maintain strong financial governance. What were looking for We value Board members who bring a combination of strategic oversight, passion for the community, and a handson attitude. Ideal candidates will: Understand or be keen to learn about the Australian community and volunteer sector. Be able to balance governance with practical, operational support. Be effective communicators who value collaboration and inclusivity. Possess previous board experience (welcomed but not essential). Commitment & Term Meetings are bimonthly (every second month). Attend occasional subcommittee meetings and key VCC events. Standard Board term as per VCC constitution. These are volunteer roles (unpaid). Outofpocket expenses may be reimbursed upon agreement.
