HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading national commercial law firm to appoint a Conflicts & AML Solicitor to support their practice across Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. Were looking for a motivated Solicitor interested in stepping into a different kind of legal role as a Conflicts & AML Analyst. With 24 years of PAE experience, you will pivot into a nonbilling position. This role offers diverse, intellectually engaging work where you can apply your legal expertise in a strategic and businessfocused environment, while gaining rare exposure to the organisations international client base and industry groups. Youll work closely with senior leadership and legal teams, ensuring the firm meets its regulatory, professional and ethical obligations while supporting efficient, compliant client service. Your Day Will Involve Conduct risk assessments and compliance reviews across multiple practice areas Implement and monitor firmwide risk, compliance, and AML/CTF frameworks Review new matters and onboarding for conflicts of interest and risk exposure Escalate complex conflicts and advise senior stakeholders on risk scenarios Maintain accurate compliance registers, records, and documentation Prepare compliance reports and coordinate internal risk and compliance training Who Youll Be Working With Youll collaborate with a highly experienced Risk & Compliance Manager, Partners, Practice Group Leaders, and the AML Compliance Officer.
