Data Officer (Public Health Unit), Queensland Health Part time, Full time, Contract, Casual/Temporary Join Our Team as a Data Officer Supporting Vital Public Health Programs Play a key role in improving the quality of immunisation and communicable disease data across Metro South Hospital and Health Service. Support critical programs including School Immunisation and Zika Mozzie Seeker through professional data support, stakeholder engagement, and high-quality administrative coordination. Your new role: As a Data Officer within Metro South Hospital and Health Service, you will deliver efficient, professional and accurate data support that underpins the delivery of key public health programs. You''ll collaborate with Environmental Health, Communicable Disease Control and Epidemiology teams to ensure timely, reliable data that supports immunisation activities, outbreak response and continuous service improvement. In this role, you will: Provide accurate, timely data to support the School Immunisation Program, Zika Mozzie Seeker Program and outbreak management activities.Assist with quality improvement processes to enhance data collection, accuracy and reporting for priority populations.Undertake a wide range of administrative and secretariat duties, including data entry, meeting organisation, switchboard assistance, document preparation and records management. You communicate with empathy, handle sensitive information with care, and take pride in supporting public health outcomes through quality data. You will bring: Strong data entry, data quality and information management skills with high attention to detail.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, including the capacity to work respectfully with diverse populations.Proven organisational and administrative capabilities, including meeting support, scheduling, and document coordination.Ability to contribute to process improvement, adapt to change and uphold workplace safety, quality and cultural respect standards.
