Room Leader - Sunbury Childcare (Diploma) Diploma // Room Leader // Under 3''s // Sunbury Childcare As our centre continues to grow it creates opportunity for someone to become our next superstar at Little Stars Early Learning and Kindergarten Sunbury. We wish to hear from interested passionate Room Leader - Diploma Qualified Educators who display a strong work ethic, with a high level of written and verbal communication skills, along with the capacity to work independently and within a team environment. Your can work a full-time or part-time (at least 4-days) working week. Little Stars Early Learning and Kindergarten Sunbury is a new purpose built centre opened 7-8 months ago with operational hours from 6.30am - 6.30pm. We are a 122 placed centre. We are passionate in building a centre that offers the very best education and care in a safe and caring environment while we build strong community connections. Guided by an experience centre leadership team, you will be supported with on going development and opportunities for growth. This role requires: Assist in preparing and setting up engaging learning environments, educational resources, and play materials. Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and discovery. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, creating a genuine sense of belonging and trust. Guide childrens behaviour through patience, encouragement, and role modelling of positive interactions. Supervise and engage children during daily routines, indoor and outdoor play, and group experiences. Promote and maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and wellbeing for all children in care. Communicate effectively with families and team members to ensure consistent, transparent, and supportive care. Candidate Requirements: Current Working with Childrens Check. Current FirstAid, CPR Certificates. Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates 2 years experience working with an early childhood setting Proven experience in a similar role. Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care. Ademonstratedunderstandingof: National Quality Framework (NQF) Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Child Protection & Safe Standards Training Workplace Health & Safety issues The ability to form warm and responsible relationships with children Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
