For the right ambitious leading hand we are happy to support your eventual transition to a site supervisor.Role OverviewThis role requires strong technical expertise in structural, mechanical and piping disciplines, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.Project Details2 x Leading Hands - 1 Year Project Burpengary Then Embed In Sunshine Coast Division based out of Elimbah or else where in our business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and evaluate workmanship and quality.Lead daily tasks to all direct reports, and managing productivity, efficiency, attitude and general work standards, whilst adhering to HSSEQ policies and meeting project deadlines.Enforce safe work practices and that HSE standards are met.Ensure that the project is kept on schedule and within budget by leading your team to successful achieve their objectives.Ensure work is in compliance with Client standards.Coordinate with the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) team to identify and resolve non-conformances and implement corrective actions if they occur.Liaise with workers, site management team and client representatives regarding technical queries and inspections.Active involvement in prestart meetings, toolbox talks, and job hazard analyses to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.Assist in investigating incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement preventive measures to avoid their recurrence.What you will needTo be physically fit.Minimum 2 to 3 years Leading Hand experience.Strong Mechanical background is required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.A commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.Ability to work with computers i.e. laptops, iPads.Good reading, numeracy, communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to work as part of a team and in a safe manner.What''s on offerThe successful candidates will become integral members of the team and will be offered a competitive hourly rate with super and overtime including company laptop and company vehicle (or car allowance while at Burpengary Project only).If you feel you have the skills, a good attitude, a strong work ethic and previous experience this role to a high standard please submit an application. #J-18808-Ljbffr
