ABOUT THE ROLE As a Wellbeing, Injury & Workplace Relations Business Partner, your key responsibilities include: Provide expert advice and mentoring on wellbeing and injury management strategies. Provide interpretation and advice on enterprise agreements and awards. Provide advice to people leaders and employees regarding injury management practices, issues and trends, support audits and prepare reports and trend analysis. Initiate early engagement with ill or injured employees, managers and medical practitioners to proactively manage rehabilitation processes. Assist with the review and update of Chisholms wellbeing & injury management and return to work policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure they include legislative requirements and best practice standards and deliver training on Chisholms policies, including Wellbeing & Injury Management component of inductions and relevant Wellbeing & Injury Management training. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees across the Chisholm, with Chisholms Workers Compensation Insurer where required and liaise and manage Chisholms Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider. Liaise with union representatives to resolve concerns and maintain constructive relationships. ABOUT YOU You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in injury management and workplace relations case handling, proven competency in the provision of expert Wellbeing & Injury Management advice, excellent customer service and collaborative case management in a complex, multi-risk environment and can work independently and prioritise own workload and to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will have knowledge of contemporary practices including person centred and trauma informed practice, the ability to interpret and apply the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation & Compensation (WIRC) Act and other relevant legislation, compliance codes, Australian standards and guidance documentation and experience in policy development, implementation and coordination, particularly with organisational wellbeing, injury management and return to work practices. Qualifications required for the role A relevant tertiary qualification in OH&S, Human Resources, psychology, Industrial Relations, Law or a related discipline or subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of knowledge, training and experience. Victorian WorkCover Authority (VWA) approved, return to work coordination certificate of claims administration is highly desirable; OR a willingness to undertake.
