Orthopaedics Locum Doctors | NSW | RMO-Consultant-GP VMO The Opportunity RMO / SRMO with surgical, ED or orthopaedic exposure Orthopaedic Registrar / SET Trainee Orthopaedic Consultant (FRACS or equivalent) GP VMO with ED and fracture/orthopaedic skills Clinical Environment Exposure to a mix of trauma, emergency orthopaedics and elective surgery Work across operating theatres, fracture clinics, ED consults and inpatient wards (site dependent) Opportunities to assist or lead on common procedures such as hip and knee surgery, hand injuries and fracture fixation Involvement in ward rounds, preop and postop care, and multidisciplinary meetings Supervision and teaching of junior doctors (for senior registrars and consultants) Experience that supports both training needs and established Orthopaedics careers Eligibility Criteria AHPRA General or Specialist Registration PGY3+ with surgical, orthopaedic or acute care experienceNSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain) Australian working rights Willingness to complete hospital credentialing and onboarding What''s Provided Competitive Orthopaedics locum rates across all levels Travel, accommodation and car hire available on many placements (site dependent) Options for oncall shifts, theatre lists, fracture clinic and block bookings Support with credentialing, roster planning and logistics to keep things straightforward Location NSW Hunter New England & Northern NSW Regional referral centres and coastal hospitals with steady trauma loads, busy theatres and strong training environments Central Coast & Western Sydney Highvolume orthopaedic services in metropolitan and periurban hospitals with a wide variety of trauma and elective work Murrumbidgee, Western NSW & Southern NSW Regional base hospitals and smaller facilities where you see a broad mix of general orthopaedics and can follow patients throughout their admission Far West & Nepean Blue Mountains Regional and more remote sites with closeknit surgical teams, a strong generalist focus and established retrieval and referral pathways Why Choose Gorilla Jobs Personalised service: We take the time to understand your preferences, availability and career goals.
