As a Mine Electrical Superintendent, youll lead a skilled team, drive innovation, and play a key role in shaping the future of electrical operations. Centennial Coal is a major underground coal mining operator in NSW, supplying both domestic and export markets. With over 1,700 employees across five sites, theyre backed by Banpu Public Company Limited, Asias largest independent energy group. What Youll Be Doing Report to the Engineering Manager and lead electrical teams to deliver safe, efficient outcomes. Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical assets, from compliance to innovation. Champion risk management, continuous improvement, and digital transformation. Collaborate across site and group engineering teams on strategic initiatives. Mentor and develop emerging engineering talent. Your Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance: Lead HSEC initiatives, ensure statutory compliance, and manage risk. Reliability Strategy: Implement long-term reliability plans and digital monitoring systems. Contract & Cost Oversight: Act as Principals Representative for electrical contracts, audits, and reporting. Talent Development: Mentor junior engineers and promote consistent engineering practices. Innovation & Projects: Partner with OEMs and site teams to drive automation and lifecycle asset management. Strategic Input: Advise senior leadership on engineering strategy, budgets, and performance.
