Position Description The practice is seeking a General Practitioner with an Occupational Health interest to join their team in a brand new, modern, fully equipped practice in Mackay. Key Responsibilities Provide highquality occupational healthcare services to workers in keeping with best practice standards. Assess potential workers before they commence employment (verify medical history, conduct basic examinations, risk assessment and recommendations to the employer regarding suitability for the proposed role). Medically manage workplace injuries to ensure returntowork outcomes are achieved effectively and efficiently. Position Requirements Full unrestricted registration with AHPRA. Ideally Examining Medical Officer (Coal Board Medical) qualification or a willingness to complete this training. Medical indemnity insurance. Valid national police clearance.
