What you will be doing You will drive accountability for regional financial performance and provide expert financial support across the business; Deliver analysis, visibility, and insights into underlying business unit performance to inform decisions; Partner with leadership teams to support decisionmaking, target setting, investments, and performance improvement; Translate strategic and operational plans into budgets and forecasts that enhance delivery and results; Conduct strategic financial analysis, including portfolio reviews, margin improvement opportunities, and cost reduction initiatives; You will perform contract reviews, tender modeling, and scenario analysis to guide pricing, capital investment, and operational decisions; Lead monthend close activities and maintain ongoing dialogue with the business to answer queries and ensure alignment with corporate strategy and KPIs. What you will bring Critical Thinking Financial acumen to interpret financial data and provide valuable insights; Analytical skills to identify trends and provide meaningful recommendations. Communication and Influencing Skills Effective communication to present financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders; Ability to articulate the link between financial data and performance and operational drivers; Ability to present complex concepts in a clear and concise manner; Ability to influence decision making processes. Collaboration and Relationship Building Consulting skills to analyse and understand the business needs and provide tailored advice, support and recommendations; Collaboration skills to connect crossfunctional teams to bring in different perspectives and facilitate effective decision making. Experience A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business; A professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA, or CIMA) or currently in the final stages of completing one; 5+ years of postgraduate experience in accounting, finance, or a related field; Experience in mining or manufacturing is a plus; Familiarity with SAP modules (such as BPC, BI Hana) and HFM would be an advantage; Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles.
