We are a passionate, local APIAIRY operation on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW, dedicated to sustainable beekeeping, honey production, pollination services and nuc supplier. We currently seeking an experience professional, a passionate dedicated person to take the lead in managing and growing an apiary, managing up to 100+ hives. We pride ourselves on a supportive team environment and a commitment to the health of our bees and the local environment.OpportunityThis is an exciting, handson opportunity for a skilled and selfmotivated apiarist to manage all aspects of our apiary operations. This permanent fulltime position offers a competitive salary package to the right individual (commensurate with experience and including superannuation/benefits).Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain bee colonies for optimal health and productivity.Plan and coordinate hive movements for honey production and pollination services.Monitor and control pests and diseases, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Conduct honey extraction and processing activities.Supervise and train junior staff or apiary hands as required.Maintain accurate records and data on hive health and production.What We Are Looking ForProven commercial beekeeping experience, ideally in a similar management role.Minimum 5 years of beekeeping/apiary experience is required.Sound knowledge of bee biology, hive management techniques, and queen bee rearing.Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.Physically fit and comfortable with manual work and lifting heavy weights.Excellent communication, organisation, and problemsolving skills.A valid driver''s Licence and reliable transport (essential for travel between apiary sites).Australian work rights are required for this position.Ready to Apply?If you are passionate about bees and ready to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!
