We are seeking an experienced, handson Financial Controller to manage the books of US technology and media companies which are part of an Australian privately owned investment group. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, audit experience, experience in large corporate groups, and a willingness to do endtoend accounting tasks for the companies. The companies are at commercialization stage and are likely to undertake capital raising activities in the coming months. It is an exciting time to join a fastgrowing group with significant local and international interests. Key Responsibilities Lead daytoday finance operations, including accounts, payroll, and compliance. Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and board reports. Oversee statutory reporting, tax, and audit processes. Liaise with the group''s USbased accountants. Manage cash flow, working capital and forecasting. Develop budgets and monitor financial performance against targets. Implement and improve financial systems, processes and internal controls. Support executive decisionmaking with datadriven financial insights. Manage and mentor a small finance team over time. About You Degreequalified in Accounting, Finance or related field. CA or CPA qualification required. 10+ years experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role. Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills. Proficient in Quickbooks Online and Xero. Excellent communication skills and business acumen. Able to balance strategic thinking with handson execution. About Us The companies are part of a privately held investment group which has existing accounting resources in place. The companies require a dedicated, handson Financial Controller to ensure the accounts are given a high level of attention for accuracy including intergroup balances. The companies are potential candidates for NASDAQ listings and will require audited accounts in due course. We are looking for an experienced accounting professional who can competently manage the books and represent the company where required as Financial Controller.
