They also offer remuneration packages that are on par with or above many top-tier law firms.What work will you do?In this role, you will:Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts including procurement, services, construction, and technology agreements;Support the business on complex commercial transactions and projects;Advise on contract risk, obligations and structuring across operational functions;Assist in managing contract disputes and working with external counsel where required;Contribute to compliance initiatives and corporate governance processes; andMaintain and improve internal templates, policies, and legal resources.What type of person will be successful?Admitted as a solicitor in Australia;47 years PQE in commercial law, ideally with experience in contract negotiation and transactional work;Experience in construction, infrastructure, or technology contracts will be highly regarded;In-house experience is desirable but not essential;Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work closely with non-legal stakeholders;Proactive, solution-focused and confident managing competing priorities.Please apply below or send your CV to [email protected] to arrange a confidential discussion.If this role isnt quite right for you, but youre interested in other roles, please get in contact.
