As the assistant store manager, you will be responsible working with the store manager to drive sales, motivate your team, while looking for opportunities to further grow your business.ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Store Manager to manage the sales team to maximise sales and profit performanceMotivate the team to achieve weekly targets and store standardsProven track record of success, including a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management and co-workersSupporting with the recruitment and selection of great talent into the teamCollaborate with the Brand Image team to identify VM opportunities and deliver on plansDrive store operations including visual merchandising, stock control, BOH processes and WFM/roster managementAble to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the businessStrong business acumenQualificationsRetail Management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferredProven track record in sales, customer service and managing performanceStrong merchandise and stock management experienceExcellent team player who enjoys motivating and mentoring the teamIs confident and comfortable in making autonomous decisions when requiredAble to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the businessMust be able to work flexible hours including after store hours, weekdays and weekendsSound understanding of fashion and the retail environment, including trends, fashion and competitorsJob detailsSeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Sales and Business DevelopmentIndustries: Retail Apparel and FashionLocation: Ralph Lauren Birkenhead Point, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia #J-18808-Ljbffr
