Position Description Retail Manager Role and ResponsibilitiesDrive sales and KPI results to achieve budgets and growth on last yearAchieve maximum possible sales, manage store direct costs and contribute to company profitUphold the Company Values and Mission StatementManage the day-to-day operations of the store and staff to achieve maximum productivityEnsure Policies and Procedures are followedTime management to increase productivity and priorities tasks daily so they do not impact on sales or customer serviceEffective leadership & leading by example, mediate any HR conflicts in their storeCoaching and training staff in all areas of daily store operationsMotivate staffConduct performance reviews, performance conversations and performance action plansKey Performance Indicators (KPIS)Sales budget & growth on last yearCustomer tagging where did the customer hear about us?Adding new customers to the membership programTraining/coaching staff (new & existing)The Store Manager main roles listed above can be achieved by:Providing best possible customer service and satisfactionWe are here to serve our customers and to make them so satisfied with our goods and services theyre delighted to recommend the Company to their own friends and relatives. Like respect, loyalty must first be earned and then nurtured to keep it alive.Retail Manager tasks include: CUSTOMER SERVICEFollowing selling guidelinesProductivity serving multiple customers at one timeFitting room service using salesmanship/suggesting add on sales to increase $ sale and uptsComplaintsQueries/Dealing with faulty goodsOrders (as per policy all orders for items requested for transfer must be pre-paid)Pinning alterationsMaintain and grow customer databaseLaybysProduct knowledgeGENERALLiaise with ManagementGeneral problem solvingActively promote BTL as per guidelinesKeep key register in store diary updatedAction emails and requested reportsAttend all meetings/ call onto conference calls when requiredEnsure all email communication/memos/diary etc are read, signed and understood by all staffFollow OHS safe work practices included but not limited to lifting, stretching, bending, ladder use, kneeling, steaming, standing for long periods.Multi-tasking/productivityShow proficiency in all IT programs and equipment in including but not limited to Harmony Winpos, email, website, Eftpos, printer and Australia post and train staff in these areasAll other reasonable requested dutiesSTART & END OF DAY PROCEDURESStore float check and bank record in store diary completed dailyDaily procedures opening and closingBalancing daily banking & dealing with petty cash transactionsEnsure sales figures in diary are fully completed daily, weekly and monthlyEnsure store has been tidied and sized ready for next days tradeREPORTSManagers report To be submitted by due dateLayby report weeklyTeam performance report weeklyEOM diary page- monthlyRoster reportingTRAINING/COACHINGManaging/supervising staffTrain and coach staff to execute and follow the selling guidelinesCoaching/training staff in all areas of store operations (new & existing)Training staff to adhere to all OHS and safe work practices and proceduresProbationary reviews (3, 6 & 12 month) and Annual staff reviewsDaily communication with team, verbally and including using the store diary for notesEncouraging and driving staff to meet budget and growth on last yearCommunicate daily with staff on store performanceTrain staff to support and execute all VM direction for periods when Manager is absentTrain staff to on how to access and use Diffuze in storeThis is a PT role 10-4.30 Monday to Friday week 1 and Tuesday to Saturday (10-3) week 2.Salary $62 PRO RATA based on the 63.5 hrs.
