Were on the lookout for a fulltime Ground & Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Tomakin Holidays site. Reporting to the Park Manager, youll lead our Grounds and Maintenance team to keep the site looking its best and resolve issues quickly creating exceptional experiences for guests and residents along the way! Tomakin Holidays offers a relaxing coastal escape on the banks of the Tomaga River, with riverfront cabins, camping, and plenty of onsite activities like a pool, kayaks, and gokart. Manage Maintenance & Repairs: Respond to accommodation and site repair requests, coordinate contractors, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Budget & Resource Management: Monitor and manage grounds and maintenance budgets, prepare purchase orders, and maintain cost control. Equipment & Safety Oversight: Ensure tools and equipment are serviced, maintain a register of repairs, and assist with site security. Administration & Compliance: Log all maintenance activities, document work and costs, prepare reports, and support annual budget preparation. Youre Likely a Match If You Team Leadership & Development: Lead by example, coach and motivate the team, set clear objectives, and foster engagement and growth. Recruitment & Performance Management: Actively recruit, induct, and provide feedback; manage performance, counselling, and disciplinary actions when needed. Workforce Planning & Rostering: Ensure adequate coverage through effective roster planning and prepare successors for key roles. Compliance & Safety Oversight: Conduct WHS audits, report incidents, maintain accurate records, and ensure safe use of equipment and materials. Collaboration & Communication: Maintain open communication with the Manager and staff, submit proposals for major works, and use appropriate systems for reporting and documentation.
