About the Position Join our non-corporate, family owned practices servicing small and large animal clients in Marian, Walkerston and Mackay. We currently have 14 veterinarians and are looking for like-minded staff to join our growing team. Full-time and Part-time rosters can be offered - a normal full-time roster consisting of 8 weekdays and 1 Saturday morning a fortnight Small and Mixed practice applicants welcome. Competitive wages of $80 000 - $130 000 per year (full time) depending on experience, paid as an hourly rate. 1:10 on call weekend roster and 1:7 weeknight roster with a 4-day long weekend following your on-call weekend (reduced on call ratio for part time applicants). Afterhours call are paid as a percentage of Afterhours fees. 4 weeks paid annual leave 1-week paid study leave per year and $3000 CPD allowance. Strong in hours and after hours mentoring and support. We also have on site fully stocked orthopaedic and BOAS kits allowing us to perform surgeries that are often not offered in rural areas such as fracture repairs, TPLO, hip toggles and BOAS surgery.
