Were looking for a passionate and dedicated Case Officer to join our vibrant Tewantin-based team and co-create a supportive, early intervention program that empowers families facing complex challenges. Driven by compassion and equity, we support people in the areas of homelessness, community and family support, mental health, and support after suicide loss. About the Role As a Case Officer, you will deliver highquality, clientcentred support to individuals and families. You will manage referrals, conduct assessments, develop case plans, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes. This role involves working with clients who may have multiple and complex needs, where you will provide tailored interventions to build life skills and support pathways to sustainable, longterm housing. Key Responsibilities Receive referrals and undertake client needs assessments. Develop, implement, and review case plans within a clientcentred framework. Coordinate service delivery through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Provide information and assistance to access appropriate services and resources. Maintain accurate client records and reports in line with Youturn policies and funding requirements. Participate in team meetings, forums, and professional development activities. Essential Experience, Qualifications & Other Requirements Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in human services. Blue Card (Working with Children) and Suitability Check. Demonstrated understanding of clientcentred case management principles. Knowledge of issues facing young people experiencing homelessness. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional report writing. Strong cultural competency. Experience in social housing or crisis accommodation programs. Knowledge of community service networks. Key Selection Criteria Applicants must address the following in their cover letter: Extensive experience in delivering homelessness or crisis accommodation programs. Knowledge and application of clientcentred case management principles. Understanding of issues impacting young people who are homeless or at risk. Ability to interpret relevant legislation and apply it to service delivery. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and uphold Youturn values.
