This enables us to provide comprehensiveservices, including strategic asset management, business case policy, strategy and procurement, economics, funding, and finance.As part of the strategic asset management team, the Asset Engineer will support WSPs Asset Manager in the delivery of the asset management, investigation and design coordination services of a major road maintenance contract. The asset management team is responsible for the development of forward works programs and asset management planning activities of road infrastructure assets.This Asset Engineer role is a fulltime role, located at WSPs Sunshine Coast office, Emporio Place, Maroochydore, QueenslandWhat you''ll do:Manage asset inventory, datasets, and assessments as directed by the Asset ManagerSupport and train others in asset information systemsCoordinate design tasksMonitor and report on asset inspection regimes and frequenciesConduct asset inspections (pavements, culverts, surface drains) as neededContribute to the Contractor Tactical Asset Management PlanDevelop the pavement Forward Works ProgramLiaise between Routine Maintenance, Program Maintenance and Asset Management teams on programming, prioritisation and approvalsUpdate condition and inventory dataAttend contract meetings and workshops as requiredCommunicate with asset management specialistsWhat we''re looking for:Asset Management Awareness or at least 2 years of experience in road/civil design, data analytics, asset management, asset maintenance, asset management systems, pavement design or related advisory rolesClientCentred Approach: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and tailored service deliveryAnalytical Thinking: A strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable formatCommunication Excellence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, data presentation, and public speakingTeam Collaboration: A collaborative, teamoriented mindset with a willingness to learn from and mentor othersA Bachelors or PostGraduate degree in a relevant fieldDrivers LicenseConstruction White Card (desirable)First Aid training (desirable)Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our closeknit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
