We are seeking a motivated and experienced Finance Officer to join our team and play a key role in managing the school''s accounts receivable processes. In this vital position, youll ensure timely invoicing, monitor outstanding payments, and maintain accurate financial recordsall while supporting families and stakeholders with professionalism and care. Cabra Dominican College is seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Finance Officer to commence 19January2026 and ending 10April2026. The position is a replacement contract, parttime for 30hours per week, 40weeks per year. Key Responsibilities Support accounts receivable and provide backup to the accounts payable functions. Provide efficient, consistent, and accurate delivery of account services. Accurately process accounts receivable and payable transactions. Undertake data entry and maintain financial information in line with the Colleges systems and practice. Liaise with parents/caregivers, customers and suppliers. Support the petty cash process. Escalate any outstanding issues to ensure a timely resolution and customer satisfaction with the services provided. This position monitors multiple email inboxes, incoming finance mail and all related queries from external customers and suppliers. About You Professional, efficient and timely communicator, with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. Effective interpersonal and collaborative skills, and ability to communicate with parents, caregivers, customers, suppliers and the community. Strive for workplace excellence in processes and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficiency at using the Microsoft Office Suite and other applications including finance related systems. Experience in cash handling and processing of payments and receivables. A high degree of integrity, confidentiality and sensitivity in receiving information and developing key working relationships. Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the role, as well as highly developed administrative systems and procedures. Coordinate competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion, including managing customers, suppliers, parents, caregivers and the community.
