This is a full time role at Poppy Ray Pty Ltd t/a BMX BURGERS. With a strong local following and an upbeat service environment, were now seeking a dynamic Fast Food Manager to lead and grow our team. The Fast Food Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of BMX Burgers, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient staff management, smooth workflows, and strong financial performance. This role includes managing inventory, supervising and training staff, planning rosters, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and supporting marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and enhance the overall customer experience. Benefits Competitive salary package. Opportunities for professional growth within the network. Task & responsibilities Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth service and efficient workflows. Manage inventory levels and place orders with approved suppliers based on sales patterns, seasonal demand, and promotions, avoiding overstocking or shortages. Review sales reports and competitor activity to help set and adjust menu pricing in line with corporate guidelines and profitability targets. Plan and deliver local marketing activities, including in-store promotions and partnerships with nearby schools or community groups, to drive sales and customer engagement. Lead daily team briefings, monitor staff performance, and provide training to maintain high service standards and productivity. Analyse sales and financial reports to identify cost savings, improve processes, and maximise profitability. Address customer feedback directly and coach staff on upselling, product knowledge, and complaint resolution. Plan rosters and coordinate payroll to match staffing to peak business times while keeping labour costs on budget. Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards, including regular audits and compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Take responsibility for the stores financial performance, including sales forecasting, budget management, and reporting against KPIs. Introduce and refine store policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accountability. Qualifications & experience A relevant qualification or substantial experience in hospitality, restaurant or fast food management and we value what you bring to the role over formal credential alone. Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and manage a team in a fast-paced, service-led environment. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, marketing/promotion and excellent customer service. A passion for food & beverage, an appreciation of our fun but quality brand ethos (retro burger bar, inclusive menu, families + local community) and the ability to maintain that vibe while delivering on results.
