About the role We are looking for someone with a genuine desire to work in this industry and advance their skillset, with a solid foundation providing excellent customer service, and who plans to stay with us for the foreseeable future. The key responsibilities of this role will be to provide Level 2 remote, onsite and phone support for our clients throughout Australia. You will be an escalation point for all of our junior engineers. To be successful in this role you will have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage in a friendly, cooperative and constructive manner. Excellent time management and problemsolving skills with advanced technical support troubleshooting abilities. A demonstrated ability to learn new skills rapidly and apply problemsolving skills. Ability to operate within a team environment. Focus on providing high levels of customer service. Desirable Technical Skills Technical support including identification, diagnosis and resolution for enduserrelated requests. Practical experience supporting Microsoft platforms and applications in commercial environments (Windows 11, Office 2016/2019, Office 365, Active Directory). Experience supporting or knowledge of server operating systems such as Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2025. Experience troubleshooting & repairing server/network hardware from vendors such as Dell, HP, etc. Experience working within a virtual environment (VMWare, HyperV). Experience working with Citrixbased platforms and environments. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office. Exposure to cloud products such as Office 365, EntraID, Intune, AWS. Advanced knowledge of networking and associated technologies such as Fortigate and Cisco Meraki firewalls, routers, NAT rules and VLANs. Working knowledge of backup software such as Veeam, Azure Backups, Shadow Protect and Datto. Working knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell and VBScript. Desirable Education Industry certifications from major vendors such as Microsoft, VMWare, Citrix and Cisco. TAFE Information and Communications Technology certifications.
