You will work collaboratively within a skilled team to deliver the highest standard of human resource management to deliver excellent client service. Experience in utilising HR systems and demonstrated capacity to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent organisational / time management skills, with ability to manage competing work priorities to meet deadlines, in a fast-paced environment. An understanding of the application of employment legislation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Exceptional emotional intelligence and judgement to make decisions confidently and independently. Demonstrated excellence in HR service delivery and ensuring business compliance with policies and procedures. Demonstrated experience in the provision of ER/IR related advice, guidance and support to senior managers and employees. Healthcare and not for profit organisational experience Key Responsibilities Provide ER/IR advice and guidance to managers and staff in relation to all aspects of the employee lifecycle. Implement a range of projects as agreed and in line with the organisations strategic plan and organisation governance framework. Support leadership and project coordination across change management activities to enhance organisation performance and strategic goals. Contribute to the development and delivery of HR strategies that reinforce the organisations values and contribute to the effective delivery of the organisations longer-term strategic goals and vision, particularly related to workforce capability and capacity. Design, develop and/or review HR policies, guidelines and procedures ensuring our ways of working structures are effective for the organisation. Support the rostering and recruitment team with contract and variation management, including the provision of award and policy expertise across required enquiries. Provide injury case management to ensure appropriate support is given to the worker and their manager and work closely with the management team to ensure all paperwork is processed as per requirements. Contribute to the development of strategic and insight driven HR reporting and metrics. Provide support for other team members and activities, as required. Hours of Work Hours are flexible depending on the organisational requirements but are generally between the hours of 9am and 5pm. NOTE: There will be times when hours of work required fall outside of these hours. What Youll Need A Degree in Human Resources, coupled with a minimum of 5 years generalist HR experience in a not-for-profit environment.
