Serving refreshments offer tea, coffee, or a cold drink to help patients feel comfortable and cared for. Engaging in activities connect through jigsaws, colouring (online), reading aloud, chatting about the news, daily quizzes, or exploring the online library (books, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks). Supporting mealtime help position food and drinks within easy reach, unwrap packages, and ensure utensils are accessible. Providing entertainment and distraction share magazines, play card or board games, do crosswords, colouring, or host a fun group trivia quiz or bingo. Helping with small comforts clean glasses, offer extra blankets or pillows to enhance comfort. Assisting with technology help patients use iPads (if available), connect to WiFi, and access the BorrowBox online library. Respecting privacy always maintain confidentiality regarding any personal or sensitive information shared by patients or staff.
