OverviewMaintenance Supervisor | 7:7 | Stanmore - Poitrel (Moranbah locals)The Maintenance Supervisor ensures proper care of tools and maintenance equipment, supervises maintenance staff and records repair work performed. This role supports driving a safe and efficient operation at the Stanmore Poitrel mine site, with 7 days on and 7 days off, 9.5 hours per day.ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper care and maintenance of tools and equipmentRecord maintenance and repair work performed and ensure quality of workSupervise leaning, waste and hygiene servicesPrepare schedules for maintenance tasksEnsure preventative maintenance at the propertyIssue safety work permits to maintenance personnelDeliver various ground maintenance services, including debris and graffiti removal, keeping landscaping and parking areas clean, safe and attractiveTrack inventory for repairs and maintenance and order supplies for maintaining groundsResponsible use of chemicals and sprays in designated areaComplete building maintenance tasks including but not limited to; door replacement, replacing/installing locksets, stripping and sealing vinyl floors, white boards on wall installationsMaintaining and cleaning vehicle, wash bays and oil separatorsOperate machinery, including a Forklift, ride on mower and other garden and power toolsAssist with unloading and loading equipmentQualificationsDemonstrated experience and competency in a similar roleA current open manual driver licence is essential for this roleThis position would suit a driven and self-motivated individual who is hard working, reliable and isnt afraid to get his/her hands dirty with the ability to work all day outsideACDC chemical license, chainsaw license and front deck mowing or similar experienceAbility to drive a zero harm culture through proactive safety leadership and display a true value for safetyWhy Sodexo?Sodexo is a people business, employing over 400,000 people worldwide and thousands in Australia.
