The role will: The Community Compliance Officer is responsible for the delivery of Animal Management, Parking Compliance, Local Law Enforcement, Litter Enforcement, Fire Prevention. Helping manage the Council pound and ensuring the care and welfare of all impounded animals, including livestock. Has current knowledge of best practice techniques in animal control and restraint. Has basic animal management/husbandry skills to handle animals including dogs, cats, sheep, goats, cattle, horses, and poultry. Has an ability to record and maintain accurate information and records.
