About the role This position is responsible for the overall management ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective comprehensive primary health care services in the Moreton ATSICHS clinics to clients, in line with the IUIH Model of Care. The scope of the position includes business planning, administration, financial management, leadership, and oversight of health service quality and safety to meet the key performance indicators and maximizing Medicare. Your day to day duties may include: Provide strategic direction, planning, team leadership that align with our Ways. Work closely with the Senior GP and Practice Support Officer to optimise business opportunities and achieve targets. Contribute to community promotions and engagement strategies that includes local marketing, sponsorship and alliances to build and maintain patient loyalty and return rates. Participate in regular audits and inspections to maintain high operational standards. Analyse reports and KPI''s to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. Ensure all new staff participate in a comprehensive program of induction, including orientation to sites, MATSICHs extended services, each of the partner organisations, and to urban Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, culture and communities. Responsible for monitoring, ordering, receiving and disposal of vaccines in accordance with IUIH cold chain management policy and procedures. Provide regular reports to Senior Management as required. Work closely with the MATSICHS Operations Manager to review, monitor and improve systems against agreed indicators (i.e. identify gaps in business processes and service delivery, and formulate responses to address these).
