Are you an experienced Licensed Surveyor looking for a role where you can lead complex work, shape project outcomes and contribute to a local surveying practice known for quality work and excellent service delivery? This is an autonomous position suited to someone who thrives on technical excellence, problemsolving and delivering highquality surveying outcomes for clients. About the Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Licensed Surveyor is responsible for delivering high-level cadastral surveying services. Youll lead complex technical work, certify plans, mentor junior team members, and act as an expert advisor to clients and stakeholders. Youll work closely with the General Manager and the Business Operations Manager to ensure smooth project workflow and consistent technical quality. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality cadastral surveys across a range of development and infrastructure projects. Prepare, review and certify cadastral documentation including subdivisions, boundary reestablishments, easements and lease area plans. Prepare Abstracts of Field Records, Licensed Surveyors Reports and lodge documentation with Land Use Victoria. Interpret development consent conditions and guide clients through subdivision and titling processes. Provide technical advice, problemsolving and valueadding solutions to clients and stakeholders. Mentor junior surveyors and technicians. Ensure all work meets quality, compliance, safety and project delivery standards. About you You are a technically strong, detail-focused surveying professional with the experience and confidence to handle complex surveying tasks independently. You enjoy mentoring others, solving problems and delivering high-quality work in a supportive, professional environment. Qualifications and Experience Registration with the Surveyors Registration Board of Victoria and extensive cadastral surveying experience, including strong knowledge of Victorian standards and regulations. 5+ years of cadastral surveying experience. Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end, with both technical accuracy and practical field capability. Experience working directly with clients, developers and authorities (including councils), with a solid understanding of subdivision processes and consent conditions. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience mentoring or collaborating with other surveyors (including juniors). Proficiency in AutoCAD and related surveying software. A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement. Current White Card and valid drivers licence.
