As an exercise physiologist, you will be responsible for the assessment of patients, prescription of exercises and supervising patient exercise programs. You will deliver therapy in individualised, group and hydrotherapy settings and work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Reporting to the Allied Health Manager you will primarily across our Acute Inpatient.Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.Skills and ExperienceDegree in Exercise Physiology (or equivalent)Current Accreditation with ESSAMinimum of 1 years experience working as an Exercise PhysiologistCurrent NDIS Workers CheckExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHigh standard of customer service and a team approachCommitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence based practiceUnderstanding of quality improvement principlesFlexible, positive approach to workExperience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting (desirable)RemunerationOn offer is hourly base salary ranging from $38.26 - $55.42 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.Whats in it for you?Professional Advancement:Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
