Since opening in November, Melton Mazda has been building a strong, high-performing team to support our growing dealership. Were now looking for an Assistant Valuer & Buyer to work closely with our Valuer & Buyer and help source high-quality used vehicles for our expanding inventory. About the Role Working closely with our Valuer & Buyer, this full-time role supports the sourcing, appraisal and acquisition of quality used vehicles for Melton Mazda. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a passion for cars who wants to develop a long-term career in the automotive industry, with full training, mentoring and a clear pathway into professional valuation and acquisition. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with sourcing vehicles through trade-ins, private sellers, auctions and dealer networks Supporting vehicle inspections and preliminary condition assessments Completing market research on pricing, demand trends and competitor activity Assisting with yard organisation and vehicle presentation Liaising with the Sales Team to support vehicle flow and coordination About You Youre someone with a strong interest in vehicles and a genuine desire to learn the commercial and technical skills required in dealership valuation and buying. Whether you have personal experience buying/selling used vehicles, have worked in an automotive environment, or you''re a qualified mechanic wanting to move off the tools, this role offers genuine development and progression. To succeed in this role, youll need: Strong interest in vehicles, mechanics and the used car market Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reasonable computer literacy with high attention to detail Technical automotive industry experience (preferred) Ability to obtain a police check (required) Why Join Melton Mazda?
