We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team and help us deliver authentic and delicious Vietnamese cuisine to our customers.As a Chef at our restaurant, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of traditional and modern Vietnamese dishes that will delight our guests. You will work closely with our Head Chef to develop and refine our menu, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and taste.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook a variety of Vietnamese dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to established recipes and standardsWork closely with the Head Chef to develop and refine the menu, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and tasteEnsure all food is prepared and presented in a timely and consistent mannerMonitor food stock levels and place orders when necessaryMaintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standardsTrain and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper cooking techniques and food safety proceduresCollaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the kitchenStay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into our menuQualifications and ExperienceProven experience as a Chef for 12 months minimum, preferably in a Vietnamese restaurant settingExtensive knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and cooking techniquesStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAttention to detail and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishesCertificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualificationFood safety and hygiene certificationWe offer a competitive salary of $77000 to $82000 plus superannuation, along with opportunities for career growth and development.
