We are looking for a Cert III qualified person with at least 6 months experience in a similar role to join the Silverchain team, working across Manly, Newport, Avalon, Forestville, Seaforth and other areas as part of the Northern Beaches region for TRANSPAC clients. TRANSPAC is a shortterm restorative care program supporting clients to transition home after long term hospitalisation. Whats on offer Guaranteed hours and shifts in the Northern Beaches area Above Award rate $36.76 per hour + Super + paid KM''s Employee benefits program + salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free each year Paid CPR and First Aid courses Minimal domestic assistance workfocus on highimpact care delivering lifechanging outcomes for clients Collaborate with Case Managers, Therapy providers and Nurses to assist clients in achieving rehabilitation goals Opportunity to go beyond typical Level 3 work and advance your skills and career What were looking for We are looking for people who: Enjoy having variety in their day Are passionate about providing an excellent service Can build positive relationships with clients and their families Remain calm under pressure and can walk away from stressful situations Feel comfortable working independently and solving everyday problems, knowing when to seek manager support In addition, you will need: An open Australian drivers licence and a roadworthy insured vehicle Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support in Ageing Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications Proof of vaccination against Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Influenza, and Covid19 The role You will be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as: Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day Assisting clients to take their medications Assisting with mobility and therapy goals Providing complex care for clients with high care needs, such as dementia Providing social and emotional support Transporting clients to lifestyle activities or appointments Helping family carers to have a break or other opportunities In the role of a TRANSPAC Care Worker you will also provide minimal housekeeping and home help services such as: General housekeeping and making beds Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors Washing, folding and ironing laundry Meal preparation and grocery shopping Why choose Silverchain Everyone at Silverchain, from care teams to leadership, plays a vital role in delivering best caresafe, personal, connected and effective.
